Valerie has dedicated her career to advocating for fairness and equity in the workplace. Prior to launching Converge, Valerie served as Global Head of Inclusion & Diversity at Stripe, and helped create the foundational Diversity and Belonging program at Airbnb. Valerie has extensive executive, business and technical recruiting experience at Google, Airbnb, and Russell Reynolds, as well as four years of supply chain and operations experience at Hewlett Packard. She studied industrial & systems engineering at Georgia Tech and holds an MBA from Emory University. Valerie has served as a guest lecturer at Emory, USC, and UC Berkeley and is sought after as a thought leader on workforce inclusion.

Bonnie has over 15 years of experience across multiple industries, from tech and VC to non-profit and government. Previously, she was a founding team member at Tala, There, she developed much of the company’s People/DEI strategy and Operations as the company grew to 600+ employees globally. Bonnie is a member of the LA Steering Committee for All RaiseShe holds a MPA from NYU and a BA from Wesleyan University.

Over the past 15+ years she has developed her expertise in partnering with C-Suite leaders to devise people focused strategies through her time as a management consultant with KPMG and Deloitte. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Jasmine graduated from Agnes Scott College with a Bachelor’s in Economics and Organizational Psychology and obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University in New York.

Alexandria is a talent and workforce inclusion leader who has had a career in Silicon Valley for the past 15 years. Alexandria has worked at top tier tech organizations at various sizes, building and scaling equitable and inclusive hiring practices through diversity recruiting, recruiting partnerships, and operational strategy at organizations such as Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and Lyft. She holds two advisory seats for early tech startups and continues to champion building diverse, fair, and inclusive hiring practices.

With 9+ years of experience in DEI, L&D, analytics, and consulting, Alan brings a unique combination of expertise, empathy, and data-driven approach to his work. He has successfully designed and implemented authentic, stage-appropriate, and data-informed DEI strategies for organizations, as well as created and facilitated impactful learning programs and experiences. He has a unique ability to build trust, show up with empathy and expertise, and get stuff done. Originally from New Zealand, Alan grew up with a typical Chinese immigrant story, and has past careers in corporate international tax and fintech. He has a MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) + Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) double degree from the University of Auckland.

Ronnie Braithwaite (he/they) is a seasoned Learning & Development consultant at the intersection of DEI, eLearning, and organizational development. They bring over seven years of rich experience across various facets of DEI training facilitation, eLearning product management, and learning experience design. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Ronnie graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, where he studied marketing, screenwriting, and motion pictures. With an academic background that also includes an MBA from Clark Atlanta University, Ronnie has cemented his expertise in crafting impactful learning and development initiatives. Beyond his corporate achievements, Ronnie is an anti-racist activist and independent documentary filmmaker dedicated to crafting narratives that foster self-growth and empowerment, particularly within marginalized black communities.

In her most recent role, she served as the Global Head of Learning & Development at Ares Management.
